Creative writing has never particularly been a strong point of mine so im not even going to attempt to poetically describe how insanely good this day was, hopefully the images below will cut it some justice.
As mid April drew upon me, the days get shorter & the nights cooler, it usually signals the end of the season, however with this year flowing straight through, it was refreshing to shoot at a venue I have not previously graced in a wedding photography capacity. I started the day with Daniel & the guys at Daniel’s family gorgeous family home before making the short drive up to the girls to Kristen & Daniel’s home in North Adelaide. Whilst I always knew Kristen would look a million dollars on her wedding day, nothing quite prepared me for the sheer beauty I was faced with.
After a quick shooting session around some of North Adelaide’s backstreets, I had organised a first look at my now not so secret spot overlooking the city. We then bounced around to a couple of other locations en route to Nepenthe before we arrived at the gorgeous set up carefully designed by Kristen. A gorgeous ceremony amongst the vines was capped off with some dusky shots down into the vines and around the rustic beauty that surrounds the dam.
We then had a sensational evening in the old wine shed with woodfire pizzas & a bevy great people.
